What are the age, height, or weight restrictions for drivers and passengers?

The primary driver must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license. Additional drivers may be 18 or older with a valid license. Children must be at least 5 years old to ride. We don’t have strict weight restrictions, but all passengers must fit safely with seat belts and harnesses fastened.

Some routes include rocky terrain and steep climbs, while others are smoother and more scenic. If you’re new to off-roading, our staff will recommend easier trails that still deliver amazing views without too much jostling.
No — we provide helmets (required for riders under 18), goggles, and maps. You’re welcome to bring your own gloves or protective eyewear if preferred. Closed-toe shoes are required for all drivers and passengers.
Yes, as long as the new driver meets the requirements: 18+ with a valid driver’s license (or 21+ if serving as the primary renter).
Rentals are based on time, not mileage. We’ll recommend mapped trails and loops that fit your schedule, whether half-day or full-day, so you can maximize your adventure and return on time.

Absolutely! Since you’re in control of the vehicle, you can stop for photos, snacks, or a picnic along the way. We supply an ice chest and maps. Just make sure to manage your time so you’re back by the end of your rental period.

Sedona Off-Road Center rents Honda Talon 2-seat and 4-seat side-by-sides, plus the Honda Pioneer 6-seater for larger groups. All rentals are self-guided and available in 2-hour, half-day (4-hour), and full-day (8-hour) durations, each with digital trail maps and helmets included for every rider.

A 2-hour rental ($149+) is ideal for a quick red-rock loop on Vultee Arch Trail or Schnebly Hill Trail. Half-day rentals ($339+) provide 4 hours to reach Outlaw Trail or Diamondback Gulch. Full-day rentals ($409+) provide 8 hours to combine multiple trails in one outing.

Yes. All Sedona Off-Road Center rentals are fully self-guided. Renters receive a detailed digital trail map and a pre-ride orientation covering vehicle controls, approved routes, and trail etiquette. Guests set their own pace and choose which permitted trail to ride within the rental window.
